This short story follows friends-turned-lovers Janie and Alex as they reach a crossroads, the boiling point of their complicated and beautiful relationship.
Julia wrote, co-directed, co-produced and co-starred this short. It is currently being developed into a feature film. Julia and her Co-Creator Andie Morgenlander just ran successful crowdfunding campaign and are currently seeking investors and producers to uplift the feature version of this nuanced narrative.

A hangry parody of Simon and Garfunkel's "America".
This award winning music video follows a happy couple while they fall apart trying to decide what to get for dinner at the grocery store. Julia directed and has a cameo in this film, written by Asheville comedian, Carin Metzger. It won “Funniest Music Video” at both Houston and Portland Comedy Film Festivals.

A Quarantine Cooking Show
Julia was hired to direct the video components of an otherwise live sketch-comedy show at The Magnetic Theatre in Asheville, NC. She loved making this one so much that she decided to take it to festivals, where it has been well received. In this sketch, a health cooking show takes a turn under the strange realities of our recent quarantine experience.
